DING! DING!! DING!!!
WE HAVE A WINNAH!!!
I have played in one roller league, and I've been "playing" for 8 years now. I go out to pick up and just enjoy the game. I used to get pissed off when I couldn't handle the puck well or pass great, but then I realized I'm not a pro hockey player. I'm hanging out with my buddies and enjoying the time and the competition. Nothing more, nothing less. It's a great way to burn off steam, a few calories and money buying gear/paying for ice time. If I miss a pass or turn over the puck (which I'm great at) I know that I really have nothing invested in this game except trying to have a good time.
