Thread: ianmonsta and nosoupforyou need your support for an ice hockey championship game!

What:

final game of a best of three series, Ice Hockey, silver level league. We are the Martin Maple Leafs.

When:

Sunday, 1/10/10, 8:45pm East/West rink in Artesia

11446 Artesia Blvd. Artesia CA, 90701

History:

as the serious underdog in this league, we've knocked off the top team (Tomahawks) in a shootout in the first round of playoffs and have pulled even with the Kings (yes, you get to boo the Kings) who were/are heavily favored to beat us. This game has all the markings of a very chippy/physical game.

First game was won by the Kings 4-2 (?), second game by the Maple Leafs 5-2.

Last game takes it all! we can use all the support we can get, so thanks for considering it!

What's funny is that I have played for both teams this season. Although I didn't have much luck when I played for you guys. Good luck Felix, I will try and make it if I am not playing for someone that night.
