The velcro works great on the old socks. Haven't tried the new ones yet. There's always tape

The velcro works fine. I use compression pants w/ an old school jock and the compression jock pants over them to hold in place and hold up the socks.

If you use the new socks.

Pro don't come w/ velcro but you can always add it.
    Retail come w/ velcro.

Ah. How should i determine my socks size? My shinguards are size 14" and i have them tucked into my skates. Feels good like that for me..

Also when wearing suspenders does that affect the jock shorts and socks? I might do what jammer said and wear suspenders to hold my pants cause i want to lower them a tad bit to cover some extra skin that shows when i crouch.

Suspenders only effect the shorts. Everything below should be held by itself

Adult retail socks will work fine. Pro Stock are larger.

Alright will check out some socks when i go in store. Was also thinking of getting this to hold the shin guard tighter cause the strap kind of sucks. I know tape would be good too, but i could use both?

Dude, you might want to look into Skate Fenders as well. They are kind of pricey but they beat a trip to the E.R. and a broken 5th Metatarsal. I wish I had bought mine BEFORE I blocked a clapper with the outside of my foot. It's been 3 months almost exactly since I last played ice hockey. :(

Btw, I'd pass on those shinguard holder uppers. You have straps, and just use tape. No need to spend extra money on those things.

Just seen what they are. Seems like i may be interested in buying some in the future.
Ah yeah i remember seeing you talk about it, must have hurt like hell. 3 months is a ton of time :0
Would i need any for LGK pick up?

The only thing is my shin pads only have one strap, and it kind of sucks, doesn't get tight enough but the length is fine.
Kind of why i liked the sleeve idea. For sure i am using tape though.
