Thread: Inline Pick-up in Calabasas

Great rink, Free skating... anyone interested? I'll be back in the area sat/sunday/monday would love to play

Also going back down come June, so if interested let me know

We have pick-up games going on there on Wednesday (competitive) and Thursday (more laid-back), around 8:30 to 10:15ish. I know the league there just started their season, so check TVRHL.com to see when there are games scheduled. There seems to be a good amount of free rink time available, so look at the schedule and check. Let me know if you find a decent time and i may join ya (more importantly, i'll try and get my goalie friend to come).

That'd be great though I'm only in town Fri/sat/sun/mon and leaving Tues so unfortunatly I can't go.

I've gone to the Wed once before, you guys tried to be competitive and it was good competition but some of the guys thought they were better than they were. Also I hate the whole 4 minute shifts- I'm a 2 minute man myself.

Easter Sunday. Anyone else? I may be able to get a couple guys possibly.

Unfortunately it's kind of a constant that the more competitive you get, the more clowns are there that forget that it's just a freakin' pickup game.

I won't be around this weekend, but i'm down to shoot around a bit some other time.

I've got work unfortunatly thats gonna keep me up in Northern California until early June, but come June I'll need something to occupy my time. Maybe Ned will let me play again, jeeze it's been so many years

I'm pretty sure that Walt runs the league now. The adult league plays on Sunday mornings.

They usually have a pickup game there Saturday mornings, too, around 8am.

But really, i didn't know there was another game on Saturday. If i happen to be awake i'll come this week. Three days of pickup a week would be a good start on getting my lazy ass back into shape.
