I have a pair of OLD CCM inline's. Tore up ice hockey boot with an old plastic runner and some NEW Tron hockey wheels. Got them when I was 16 and I'm now 32 (they still fit)
These skates are old...but they still work. Well, up until the other day when I decided to put them on and the hockey boot is tearing apart from the runner/wheels part.
Is there a place where you can take skates to have the boot refastened to the runner? I don't want to just take my chances with Shoe Goo since that doesn't seem very effective.
I know, I know..."go get some new skates!" Well...I did that but the Bauer's that I picked up with a plastic boot SUCKED and killed my feet by the time I reached the end of the block. I had to take them back.
Do they still sell inline skates with actual ice hockey boots? I seem to prefer those over the new plastic style boots.
Thanks for any input in advance!
