Default Introducing North Hollywood Hockey League

    Formally the EVYMCA Hockey League.

    https://www.facebook.com/NorthHollywoodHockeyLeague

The North Hollywood Hockey League brought to you by the YMCA strives to provide the highest quality roller hockey league in Southern California.

The NHHL is looking forward to it's 2013 inaugural season. Scheduled to start the 2nd week of April - The NHHL is currently accepting applications for one of the three competitive divisions.

Rookie/Relaxed - Tailored for the once a week warrior. Referees understand that this is level is for everyone. It's a great place to join a less competitive league or for players just starting out.

Veteran/Competitor - For the player who is ready to step up their game to the next level. Very competitive league with solid competition. Great place to hone your skills and a chance to play against some very good skaters.

Pro/Warrior - The place for the best Outdoor Roller Hockey Competition in Southern California. Very competitive while attracting some of the best talent on wheels around.

All Leagues have an All-Star Game and Skills Competition and the season concludes with a great 2 week playoffs and culminates with the awarding of the Championship Cup to the Victors of the Playoffs!

To ensure that we don't loose another hockey rink to "budget cuts" please pass along this information and we can continue to grow hockey in Southern California!

Thats cool, I wish there was a rink in Long Beach, well, the Lakewood YMCA has one, but it is pretty small. It would be cool play roller mid week, since I play ice hockey on Sundays.

Are the same goons playing in this league? My buddies and I have had too many problems with egos in NoHo. Everyone plays in Burbank league now. Much more chill there. Hopefully new people are running this league to weed out the riff raff.

    Angry,

I'm sorry you had a less then stellar experience previously at the rink.

I would like to extend an invitation to give the North Hollywood Hockey League a try. I think you will be happy with the product that we are now striving to produce.

We are doing our job and making sure that ego's stay just that... egos. Everyone deserves and will be given the chance to play in a safe, well organized, respectable hockey league. There are clear and simple rules that we all must play by and players who cannot play within those rules and respect the league, rink and it's players will have to find another facility to play hockey at.

If you have any other questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for your continued support of the North Hollywood Hockey League.
I look forward to seeing you at the rink!
