It's mid season for most leagues right now. But as a goalie I'm sure you can find a few games as a Sub. What level do you come from. Call the rinks and ask for the hockey director to put you on the back up list.
Thanks for the post... Im guessing i'm a intermediate level goalie... played Div A Beer league hockey for the past 5 years. Anyone knw where i'd be able to find a list of rinks around town? I'm new and don't even know where to start.
Missing Vancouver and my hockey...
Thanks

This should help you out to start. Welcome to So. Cal!
My team is going to have a few games coming up in the next couple months where our goalie is going to be out and we'll need a sub. It'll be kind of last minute notice though. So if you can jump out in a pinch then I'll get your info and hit you up when the time comes. We play at Ice Station Valencia, monday nights either 845pm or 1015pm.
They also have a reserve goalie list.

Thanks for all your help guys...
Gonna get my gear sent down from Vancouver now.
ElFuego - i'll be down for any ice time... Thanks.
If any teams looking for a goalie next season... Lemme know!
Sorry the Canucks beat y'all last night.![]()
also, jump into the pickup skates on this board
Also just go to the pick ups at the rinks you like and a team will find you.
Here are two good rink lists.
KINGS RINK ALLIANCE - Los Angeles Kings - Local Hockey
Local Rinks - Anaheim Ducks - Community
Welcome to Southern California. I'm not trying to sound condescending but I would recommend you see a team play before you commit, as the level down here may differ from the beer leagues in Canada. Best of Luck, See you at the pick ups.
Kings>Ducks
Interested in some "Stick time"? We can car pool from my
location. BTW, stick time is a free for all and NOT pickup
hockey, but you being a goalie, is huge. There are other
options other than TSC (where the kings practice).
I would prefer TSC, but I know other stick times.PM me.
