Thread: Kill The Aussie... Again!

The Aussie will be returning to your shores in the coming weeks, and with that comes the second edition of Kill The Aussie.

The game is currently planned for Saturday March 26, however the intended time and location has been wiped after TSC changed their mind about a time, and now claim to have nothing available any weekends near that date unless we want to play at midnight again, which I don't think we do.

Therefore, it looks likely the game will take place at Glacial Gardens in Lakewood or the Ice Station in Valencia.

If any of the regulars want to put in a call in the next day or two and see what times are available that day at either rink (or if someone has better contacts than me at TSC), that'd be great, if not I will try and get something organized this week.

Do Lakewood Scott.........gotta do it!!! I want to be a bench coach, seeing that its going to be a miracle if I can get on the ice.

I'll call Lakewood and see what's available in March. We just played at Valencia last night.

For the record though I've never had trouble filling a midnight slot at TSC.

Well we certainly didn't have too many problems filling the last KTA after midnight, but it did come with it's fair share of bitching, and lots of "never again." Midnight doesn't bother me, but I'd prefer everyone else be happy, so let's see what Lakewood has to offer.

My vote is for midnight at TSC...always a good time and plenty of skaters.

Late TSC works for me, closer than Glacial too.

Midnight at TSC is probably my preference, I just figured everyone else would prefer an earlier timeslot at Glacial.

If someone wants to confirm that TSC is available (it was when I spoke to them late last week) at midnight on that night, I'm more than happy to go with it. I can try and find out later in the week if no one else can find out.

I doubt I have enough time to remember how to ice skate (which I really don't know how to do) and buy equipment to play on this ice, but if I did, ooooh, I would be skating circles around you guys, and scoring goals and with babes, woo!

Personally, I don't think we could go wrong any of the 3 rinks mentioned or a few others,
but I would really like to see either a morning, afternoon or early evening time slot.
I know that's like asking for a miracle, but is it possible?
