...then I would just have the girlfriend of dry cleaners put the patch on for me and then take it to Hockey Tron, Hockey Monkey, or Hockey Giant to have the numbering put on for $5 or $6. Done deal.

This has official crossed over to the "Not worth my time anymore" sector. I'm actually with VCRW and like that jersey more than anything, but was trying to get something done before the next Coors Cup.

Incorrect. That was the clear front runner in the original thread, which got put on hold to verify that people were willing to put up the money. Once the spending limit was ruled out, that jersey was not even represented in the options to vote for.

for the record, i only posted that poll to try to help fishy get answers for several questions that were being asked and to expedite and answer for the several people that were getting antsy. since im not a player on any team and only an occasional witness, i coulda been told to kick rocks on it at any time and happily would have. seems like several people were going off to the side to find quotes and get ideas to "help" but it turned into this web of partial information with not much actually getting done.

What fishy shoulda done was take all of the great suggestions to begin with, figure out the best looking AND most cost effective idea then presented it. you cant do everything by committee and expect it to get done with any sort of efficiency.

Everyone take a timeout. As a bystander i wasnt seeing the back and forth as bad as you two are seeing it. Some times electronic correspondence gets misinterpreted.
