oh ****s
Spjon,
I had mentioned earlier I would be bringing some
"Barley Pops" and chilled bottle water for all. I will
pickup whats on sale or the regular, BLight - CLight. Don't
know how many will drink them, so a head count
would be nice. Also, I need to know from Daxx if
this is OK to do. Some rinks frown on this so I
want to know if this is something I should do.
(in lawyer type voice) It is my personal and professional opinion that all ice rinks frown on the consumption of alcoholic beverages in the locker rooms before, during and after a game. (lawyer voice off)
I have seen bottle caps and empties in the locker room at places like TSC, Glacial Gardens (where we are playing), KHS and Anaheim Ice. Hell, we had beer after the last LGK game at Staples two seasons back. We had beer at the last game we played at Glacial as well.
So I'm not "endorsing" that you bring the barley pops, but then again I can't stop you. There are approximately 20 people that are set up to play right now. We are a few shy of what I wanted, but thems the breaks.
Also on a side note, Hefeweizen after strenuous activity helps replenish the body with B vitamins.
