I know most adult leagues play on Sunday nights. Friday night or Saturday day/night might work best.
Just my opinion.

Tonga and I went at it in the crease at the last LGK ice game. It wasn't serious shoving. It was more of me leaning into him, trying to move almost 300 lbs of of his manliness, without the intent to knock him down or to prove something to him. After the play was broken up and the puck was going the other way, him and I were laughing and talking as we skated down the ice.
I think something like this is acceptable, but if you're going to be shoving with the intent to knock someone down and to prove you can move him out of the crease, then that obviously isn't cool in this kind of game.
All LGK games have been fun. That's the #1 reason to play. A good time with cool guys to play a little hockey. If you have something to prove out there, don't play.
Mid August sounds good to me...

Glad we clarified it all.
I cant pass up the opportunity to skate on the same line as PassMeDaDamnPuck or whatever the **** his name is.
Oh, not to mention talk gear with Mudfisher.
oh, ****, Im getting giddy.
btw, mitchrock needs to be there in full Islanders glory.
so I can mock him.
i don't think you can have a game where people don't bump into each other while going for the puck. but i don't know if someone needs to be "cleared out" for staying in front of the goalie in a pick up game. it's not like we're gonna get a prize for winning.
but i'm sure it'll be a good clean game anyways. hopefully...lol
