LGK Roller Hockey Team
Been playing in a league off the 170 @ Magnolia for several years with a couple of other members (cheezNkrackerz96, Mellena88, and a couple others who's tags escape me at the moment) and we want to fill out the team with LGK'ers.
Its about a 20 min drive from downtown, ten minutes from the 118, 15 from the 210/5 so its pretty convieiant from all over.
4 on 4, 3 - 15 min per. cannot pass the puck offsides, basic stuff.
The league is on Tuesday nights. I think the league starts on/around the week of the 28th (we have one or two pre-season games to start) Competitive team but we all are in it for the fun. Its like a 10-12 game season plus playoffs ands its only like 100 bucks for registration and we get jerseys for under 20 a person (until we ask LGK to pay for our jerseys and we will put the site name/logo all over.. Rinkrat... you readin?)
Fun group, no stress, just love playing and bashing the ducks. Let me know if you are interested.

I'm interested. How far is this from the westwood area? And what time are the games? Will I be able to get there on time with the rush hour traffic being what it is? Let me know...

I come from Vernon (the 5 and 60 interchange) and it takes me 30-45 during rush hour. I am going to request all of our games be 7 or later (7,8,9,sometimes 10 O'clock games)

I've been thinking more and more lately about picking up some wheels and adding roller to my resume... How's the skill level? Does the league have a website? I may know an LGKer who plays there...
I'm wondering how my limited skills on ice will traslate to concrete.

if we can get this team together we can try any leagues we want. it would be fun to have a team that we can develop some chemistry together and log some games as a unit.

Whats your team name and which level do you play at? I played in this league last season for the "Chimichangas" in Bronze. Let me know, I plan on coming back.

We previously played on Wednesday nights under the team name "Free Agents". We are playing either on Tuesdays or Wednesdays this season. Start PM'ing me, if you are serious, with your contact information and I will put together a roster.
