Thread: Looking to join a hockey team, welcome yout rhoughts.

I used to play in local league 10-15 years ago, played for like 8 seasons or so.

Put my name out over at Toyota for any team who needed a roster spot filled, got a call from a nice guy today with a team in the Bronze B league who has one spot.

I don't know anything about the league or the level of play, wanted to see if anyone played in this league, or knows anything about it.

Looking for fun, and decent hockey. Nice guys, team spirit, all the good stuff. Don't need the annoying "I think I will go to open NHL tryouts" attitude that some people had back in my playing days!

And man, I feel SO lost when looking at all the new gear out there. I will need some gear for sure. Been to Jake's they seem very cook, but don't even know of any local hockey stores any more.

I guess just looking to connect with anyone who plays adult hockey, where you buy your gear, and any thoughts you might have on the whole thing!

Check the LGK pickups. I think some of those guys play at TSC or at least know about the levels there.

If you spoke with Ed, which I imagine you did, I'm on that team. Good group of guys. Ice time is even, nobody really thinkis they deserve to be out there more than anyone.

fyi, hockeytron in los alamitos sharpens skates for free. Decent selection of gear. You should hit up an lgk pickup. Good fun and a good group. Except for that SuperCalo guy. He tends to blind people with his jersey selection. Like a Mexican don cherry

fishmonger's team is pretty good I know several of them. I play in this league but on a different team. Who was the one that called you? first name? I know we were looking for players too.

I just talked to Ed, George is interested playing for the draft team. Rite when I was going to commit to a full season. Lol.

Anyways, hockey monkey in Santa Ana, hockeytron, and hockey giant in Anaheim are some good spots for you to grab some gear. If you need new skates, I suggest jakes or Anaheim ice.
