I ended up getting one. I really like it! It is way more comfortable than my old Bauer.

What other ones did you try and and consider before getting settling ont his one ?

Let us know how it feels after a pick up or game. I know at least a few of us are interested.

The Bauer used to pinch on the top and sides. The adjustments are very easy to use and I can tighten/loosen it one handed. Helmet feels lighter as well.

The best thing I can say about it is that I have worn it for a few games now and have not had a single thought about the fit of my helmet throughout the games.

they will both protect you in a fall. but the $100+ helmets have added features for convenience. you get a lighter helmet that is more comfortable. my rbk 8k helmet has adjustments (i believe the 6k does too) that give it a tighter fit. some people don't care. but once you try one on, it's hard to go back. it's like buying a luxury car vs. an economy one. they'll both get you to your destination in the end. but how comfy do you want to be while you go there?

How would you compare the helmet to say a 6k/8k or a Vector 08/10 ?

Didn't try anything else. Put the M11 on first and it just felt right!

I got a CCM V10 about a month back and I love it. The
M11 also felt great protection wise when I put it on, but had a little too much bulk for my taste. Might not be an issue for people that lack the scrawniness of my neck...but.

From what I've heard, the new EastonS19s are supposed to be the -ish, in that they are the first 'new' helmet technologically in the last few years. Haven't tried one on yet, so I dunno.

I'll check both tomorrow as well as the 6K. Too bad they are out of the pro stock 8K.

I like the Rbks you mentioned as well. I love that dial adjustment feature. I in general am a CCM guy, so I stick with that as much as possible...but the Rbk helmet almost broke me out of that.

The money goes to the same parent company if it makes you feel any better.

I am also looking at the Tour helmet. I just want a helmet that has good protection and sir flow to keep my head somewhat cool.
