All skates break down quickly nowadays, if you want them light the plastic just doesn't hold up...

I was into mission all my life....

then... the last 2 pairs I had broke down, boot tears apart, chassis tears off the boot...

I now wear TOUR. It took a little bit to get used to all 80's. But I love it.

I wear Bauer Supremes for Ice.

When mission first came out I thought they were junk. At that time I was looking for skates I bought some CCM tacks for roller and some Graf's for ice. Both are great skates. It seems to me mission has improved a bit but I still wouldn't get them.

    Ding ding.

But in all honesty, i've worn my missions for a long while and they're great, but i'm a small guy. Usually heavier guys I know break missions within a year of owning them.

I have only had my missions for this season, but I LOVE them! Best fit I've ever had and I'm skating the best I ever have in them.

Never like missions, never liked the look, never liked the fit... Just never liked them... Now I have a reason to not... I have skated in CCM's and nothing but for the last 8+ years...

I have the same pair of Missions for over 7 years and they are still in perfect working condition, never had a problem with them. The laces even lasted me a good 6 years.
