Thread: My teammate scored his first ever goal last night

None of you know him, but watching him made me remember mine. So cool to be part of that.

I can't remember scoring my first goal, which is lame considering how few I've scored.

Luckily, I have a couple on VHS tape.

I do remember my first goal in organized hockey. I was playing Midget. A wrister from the blue line. Got mobbed by the entire team, the other team was standing around wondering what the hell was going on.

I remember my first hat trick not my first goal though. SCAHA Bantam B. We one the game 5-3

First goal 1 on 1 streaking down the side (snapshot) it as hard as I could beat the goalie short side under the glove.

Second goal, teamate takes a slapper from the point I tap in the rebound.

Third goal, wraparound.

My dad was so proud of me. thanks for bringing up this topic. Good times.

Mini mites in my first game... I just threw the puck at the goal from the red line and it went in. haha, that was great

I have yet to score a goal in 5 on 5 non pick up play. In my 3 on 3 league, there were games I would have a 5 point night (2 goals 3 assists). I even got a flukey short handed on a PK when I cleared the puck and the goalie got lazy and the puck bounced over his stick...loved it!!

I dunno about my first goal, but my first hatty was taped by my dad. Still remember it. Nobody on the team knew it but me and the coach since i was D and not known for scoring back then (my dad knew right away, of course).

I don't quite remember my first goal on ice. I'm pretty sure I banged one in from the low slot under the goalie's arm.
