    Default new CCM logo...

man what's with the change? it was great the way it was, now they even got rid of the boxes around the letters. the new line of stuff looks bad too, especially the sticks and the gloves.

o well. maybe looks aren't everything, and the nhl is changing too.

The old CCM logo is a classic.

Isn't CCM owned by RBK now? (Nike owns Bauer, so I think RBK bought CCM a while back).

RBK and Nike should be out of hockey.

They have done nothing constructive to improve the game (jerseys, gloves, sticks, images, etc), all they are trying to do is improve their bottom line. It started with the jerseys when they moved their company logo to be above the player's name, instead of being at the bottom of the jersey, where it belongs.

It's like me trying to design soccer jerseys/marketing campaign. I don't give a crap about the sport or its history, so don't ask me to change the designs and promote it.

Really? I've got some Nike/Bauer equipment that has lasted a bit longer than some of the other stuff I've had. I can't seem to break my paddle no matter how hard I try at times. Besides that, why wouldn't a prudent minded corporation try to improve their bottom line? You may not think they've done anything constructive, but they've not done anything to take away from the SPORT of hockey.

    Bleh...

What is with corporations thinking they need to change **** all the time? Sometimes it's good just to leave stuff alone.

Agree there. If you've ever seen the show "Rescue Me" with Dennis Leary, they have the FDNY vs NYPD game in a few of the episodes. One of the "probies" was wearing a CCM hat where the blocks were the colors of the Irish flag. Damn I want one of those.

Sometimes it is best to leave things alone, but there is usually room for improvement. Nike and Reebok are not generally companies that put out a crappy product, although my Reebok paddle broke after only a couple of slams against the post where as, like I stated before, the Nike almost seems to have a will against snapping.

I wanna say, if it aint broke... don't fix it.

But you also have to remember there's people who like change unlike all the others who like to stay traditional. All products change and there's nothing we can do but b*tch about it.

Rbk and Nike haven't done anything constructive to improve the game? Are you kidding me? Do you even play the game? The NikeBauer skates are the most popular among NHLer's as well as amature players. Rbk pads are also the most worn by guys in the NHL. They've taken tons of time on R&D looking for ways to improve game play.
