New Westminster Ice?
Anyone been in there yet?
Used to love playing there. A little smaller, but fast, fast, fast. ****ty facilities, but a great ice surface. I'm imagining this whole "Rinks" thing the Samuelli's are doing have brought it back to life in a nicer way? More importantly, how's the ice?

The outside looks nice when you drive by it now. Haven't been in yet.

I played there for the first time a couple months ago. It's nice & bright in there and the locker rooms are clean. Kind of trippy because they have curling lines painted on the ice as well as the regular hockey lines.
The only negative is that the zamboni enters the ice right at center ice. Up against the boards where they open them up, the ice was really messed up, to the point where it could cause you to fall. Don't know if thats something that exists all the time or just the time I was there.
Another positive is the bar around the back of the building. I think it's called "Wally's". Go there.
