Thread: Pick Up Hockey tonight?

Hey, is is this game still going on? My buddy and I are looking for a laid back pick-up game on the weekends. Drop me a line, I'm new to the forum

is this every sunday night? at 10:30? until when?

10:45pm till 12:15am..every Sunday night.

is there an age restriction?

This is a nice little pickup session. As mentioned, the guy Bernie who runs the show is a super kind older gentlemen who is very welcoming. it's 15 bucks and starts at 10:45 sunday nights, open to anyone.

when I went there were about 8 players per team and goalies for each side. There are a few guys who were pretty gongshow out there just cherry picking at the blue line and never getting off the ice but for the most part everyone is quite nice. Seems like quite a range of players in terms of skill, as long as you're a decent skater you'd be fine.

As for age, there was a kid who was about 10 years old there, so I don't think there is an age requirement but I also believe he was there with his dad, so I don't know if that mattered. However the guy Bernie is real nice so I'm not sure he'd care.

thanks for the info...i played for culver high before and thats where we practiced so ive been going to that rink my whole life. its a very convenient location.
