ice is killer BEFORE the Kings game. Not quite so when you play after but still...
oh before, I bet...afterwards is horrid!
TSC has much better ice than after a game at staples.
before is amazing. after is not so great but it does vary. a lot of it depends on how late the kings game goes. if it goes late they half-ass it and its all ****ed.
Ice sucks when it is constantly being covered and uncovered by basketball and convention flooring. Basketball needs to be moved out.
So what about the nets? Are they in place or not, meaning on pegs? If not, then is there anyway I can get them pegged up?
no pegs, and I don't think they'll let you use any, even if you brought them. will mess up their ice.
I guess we were too old-time hockey for them. With about 6 minutes to go in the game, they called the game because guys couldn't keep their golves on. I think the game itself was a disappointment, but a good experience.
The ice seemed very hard to me, so I'm glad I got my skates sharpened before. Pretty warm and bright at ice level, almost needed my sunglasses down there, almost. The peg-less nets wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, it wasn't a problem at all. I definetely want to play there again though.
I haven't even tried playing yet, but doing this has now made my bucket list.
