Possible Tuesday Night Pickup 10:15pm -11:30 @ VIC

Hey guys, I am thinking about booking a slot of ice time weekly for a private pickup. It would be on the small ice, 4 x 4 at VIC (Valley Ice Center on Van Nuys/Parthenia.)

Ideally, I would like to have about 2 (maybe 3) subs per team. Cost would be $20.00 per skater, goalies play for free.

Skill level will probably be intermediate, with some n00bz sprinkled in here and there.

No creeps, please. Any douchebaggery will result in you not being invited back.

Please reply with your level of interest. (i.e. you would want to do this regularly or on occasion.) Keep in mind that the pickup doesn't start until 10:15pm, which might be a problem for some of you old geezers.

Very interested, though I couldn't do it every week. Could probably manage to do it once or twice a month, though.

It's my local rink. I'd do it.

Bah! And I just hooked up a weekly pickup game at the exact same time! Booo me.

I might like to be one of the sprinkled noobs, but you will have to first clearly outline what you consider to be creepy and douchebaggerish.

I more than likely won't pass the sniff test.

Skate 2to3 times a week there, I would be one of the noobs...well aslong as you dont mind a girl playing :dancingchicken:

Just wanted to post a little update: I am still working on getting a second goalie to commit to this weekly. I do not want to do it if I do not have 2 goalies showing up each week.

Other than that, everyone who replied is more than welcome to join us if/when I get it going. Everyone except for lappy that is, he unfortunately did not pass the douche-ometer test...

I keed, I keed. Lappy, you are more than welcome to play, but I am afraid there are not going to be any Ice Girls to keep you company twenty minutes into the pickup. :drum:

I play in level 5 at the VIC..i'd be MILDLY interested...it depends on my cash flow.

I would probably be in every now and then. It just depends on how much money I have that week. I have a friend who would probably be in every now and then as well.
