Question about the ADM Model
Okay guys, I have a question here for the hockey parents. Does anyone here have kids that play in the ADM model program? MY son was invited by another parent to tryout for this, but he is not the strongest in his passing, shooting, or stick handling and game sense. He is in the intro to hockey classes at Glacial (like hockey tot 2 at TSC) but I want to know what they teach in thins program and if he should give the tryouts a go. I know part of me says he has to learn about rejection and not being picked for things, but also I do not want him so rejected from a sport that he gives it up. Any help peeps

My only experience was with the hockey skating classes and HockeyTech at Glacial. My nephew was getting pretty good and had a lot of fun. It got to the point where he could hold his own with some kids on a team. You would have to practice with them on your own time at the park and still take them to the free skate session during the week to see optimal results.

Thanks Andres. I want him tohave fun, but not be burnt out by things. I mean he has swimming and soccer already, plus a couple of races coming up in addition to his hockey classes and regular kids stuff.

No problem. It wasn't much of a commitment on my part so it was cool.
