Thread: The Rinks in Corona

I want to get into roller hockey and was wondering if anyone on here plays at the Rinks in Corona? Its been awhile since Ive skated but figured I would pick up on it fast since I used to play for fun a few years back... But since I havnt played for awhile and dont really know anyone that does, I figured it would be cool to meet some people on here that did play, especially at the Rinks since it isnt too far from my house.

its a fine rink. it's run semi compitently as long as you arent one of those douchebags who likes to fight in rec leagues and doesnt have dilusions based on the talent you THINK you have.

oh, and if its been a while, there's a bunch of pick ups weekly, and a learn to skate class where you can refresh your skills. might be a good idea to get the feel of the place before you commit to signing up for a league. if youre confident in your skillset already, they just started a new season. you can sign up for the wait list. if a team in your chosen day/division needs fill in players, theyll drop you on a team and then youll pay an individual fee ( like $125ish).

Thanks for the info...Im gonna do this regardless and already looked into the pickup games/leagues/skating classes etc... Hopefully someone on here plays over there since it would be cool to at least know someone and is also a Kings fan.
