They're mini nets. Don't know the exact measurement, but it's only about 2 1/2 to 3 feet wide and maybe 10-12 inches tall.

And it's all in fun. No checking... well, unless you deserve it.

Sometimes when I'm playing back, I'll square up to the shooter and stop anything that comes my way (and slash any skate that gets too close to my crease).
