Scoring drought and a touch of frustration
I just got back into playing hockey about 6-7 months ago and I have to say that I'm pretty proud of how far I've come in that time, considering I hadn't played in 12 years. I play RW/C in an adult rec league and I'm one of the better players on my team but I haven't scored a goal since our first game (about 6 games ago) and I'm getting frustrated. I get the puck, I get chances but nothings going in. I have a decent shot and I'm fairly accurate, so what gives? Has anyone else experienced this and what helped you get out of the funk? Scoring goals is the best feeling in the world, aside from winning and dammit I want that feeling again.
