Bauer Vapor X40 for shins, CCM U+ Fit 07 for elbows

They were both on sale, but seem like good midrange choices.

I'm 35 and learning myself. Stated a month ago. Gonna take some skating lessons at Paramount Iceland to help more.

Scrimmaged today against 9 year olds at the Valley Ice Center. Boy am I out of shape, but I think Lappy is in worse shape.

Thanks to Lappy for tagging along, so glad I wasn't the only person on the ice alive during the Clinton presidency.
