Default Skates too large - tips?

So I just broke my pair of Mission inline skates, and now I'm left with my 10 year old Tours. They're great skates, but the problem is that when I bought them, my foot was about a size larger (in shoes) than it is now due to fallen arches and maybe just aging (I've heard of people getting shorter as they age, but not necessarily having their feet shrink). Anyway at 17 i was a 11.5/12 shoe and bought a 10.5 Tour skate, but now I'm like a 10.5/11 shoe. I don't really wanna buy new skates just to use for outdoor roller hockey leagues, but was wondering if anybody had any advice on how to make the old Tours fit me better? Should I stuff some light padding in the toe? Wear thick socks? get new footbeds that are cut to my size?

GRAF footbeds. Should have them anyway for any skate, but will snug the skate a bit and keep your foot in proper placement. Worth every penny. Don't waste time with other brands. I've tried many and the GRAF is superior by far.

Get a new pair of Ice skates and convert your roller chassis. Jakes only charges $25. You can get a low to mid level skate right now on close out for under $200. Check all three local Super Stores. Get on the mailing lists for extra discount codes.

Can any roller chasis be mounted on any ice boot assuming they're for skates of the correct size?

Many years ago I had roller chassis' mounted on my old Bauer 2000 Hockey skates, I wish I never did that though. Those were amazing skates!
