well my gloves, shin guards, and skates fell apart on me within 2 months. my bauer gloves and jofa shin guards lasted me years before that. my new bauer gloves and rbk shin guards have now lasted me 2 years and are still going strong. but it's cool. if it works, then it's all good. i know some people who swear by mission. but for me, i'll never give them another dollar.

Ugh. Sticks have gotten crazy expensive. I bought a first generation Easton Stealth and I thought that was pricey at the time ($100). Somehow, I got AMAZINGLY lucky, and that stick lasted me almost three years (though I haven't been playing much). The new Stealth is over $200. I'm out. I can't justify a $200 stick for my adult league games. One slash and it's $200 down the drain. I think I'm going back to two-piece sticks.

So I picked up a blade for my old mission stick, and hopefully it works well cause it was pretty damn hard to figure out the lie and curve that I wanted since I could not figure it out with just the shaft.

Also, I picked up on sale a Heatley Curve Synergy Grip from like 3 years ago (the ugly orange one)

I snapped my 30 dollar wooden one (my first) flying into the boards trying to keep a puck in the zone...

the stick got pinned between me and the D man trying to get it out...I must have braced myself a bit with it, and since it didn't have anywhere to go...it snapped down near the blade.

I threw away the shaft...and kept the blate for sentimental reasons
