I don't know that "a few dozen sticks" is going to cut it. Most people are very particular about their brand, model, and curve. If you have to buy an 'emergency' stick right before a game or practice, and they don't have anything remotely like you want among the "few dozen sticks", you're going to be very reluctant to part with $300.

..... but that's assuming all models are SOTA composites. Maybe the "few dozen sticks" are going to have to be $30 wooden models.

Dr. Naysay says the Kings are taking TSC with them when they move to Kansas City.

I don't think we have to twist HG or HM's arms to do this. They'll be glad to go mobile if it means suppressing competition and putting their brand in the face of every youth player and parent in SoCal.

Living in Hollywood, I cannot think of any place that even comes remotely close to the sharpenings I get there.

Pricing for anything I have ever purchased has always been comparable to HG or Monkeynutz, even if the selection was not the best. (OPS price for me was even better than HM or Giant.)

For me, TSC is far from teh suckage

That is not funny, ianmonsta. It is sad, pathetic, and a source of never-ending embarrassment to your family. When I become the supreme dictator of the western hemisphere, there will be a place for you in one of my internment camps.

Default *Kings Equipment Sale / Team LA Pro Shop Closing Sale will continue until Late July*

    From ModSquad
    Pro Equipment Sales - ModSquadHockey
Los Angeles Kings sale June 12 and 13 at the Toyota Practice rink in El Segundo.

Apparently new sticks will be around $120 and used around $75 or so. Not sure how much stuff they will have. Not sure about gloves, helmets, etc.
I know the shop has a lot of stuff already not sure if they are selling any yet.

If someone could pick me up some 14" gloves for cheap (under 60) I'd be stoked on life and I'll buy you a sixer.

Last year they had some boxes of Jr Kings gear (gloves etc). The pro shop used it to clear out some of their older stuff too

I went to TSC yesterday morning, and they have already put out the majority, if not all of the gear. Not sure if they are going to make any pricing adjustments at the sale on the roller rink...

Gloves: They had some Easton e-Pros - Doughty, Stoll, Richardson. Various Reebok and RBK as well. All the good condition Doughty gloves have been picked through, if you want a pair of his Eastons, they are going to have a bit of funk coming with them. The ones I saw were $50.00 (They did have a couple pairs of nice Stoll epros in very good shape for $50 as well.)

Skates: Various XXXXs in great shape as well as a few X60s,One95s, CCMs, S9. (No TotalOnes.) Most of the skates were in excellent shape. Skates were $75 for XXXXs, X60s were $150. (X60s were Kopitars and Modins) If you wear between a 9and 11.5 in skates, you can probably find something nice for a good price. I bought a pair of William's XXXXs that are in great shape, going to convert them to inline.

Sticks: Good selection of sticks, LH and RH as well. I'll focus on RH - Brown 195s, Frolov TPS R8, Matt Greene 2-pc One95, Williams SE16, Doughty S19s (maybe 2-3 left of these, decent shape for $90, I think other sticks were $80 or so...)
