I don't know that "a few dozen sticks" is going to cut it. Most people are very particular about their brand, model, and curve. If you have to buy an 'emergency' stick right before a game or practice, and they don't have anything remotely like you want among the "few dozen sticks", you're going to be very reluctant to part with $300.

..... but that's assuming all models are SOTA composites. Maybe the "few dozen sticks" are going to have to be $30 wooden models.

Living in Hollywood, I cannot think of any place that even comes remotely close to the sharpenings I get there.

Pricing for anything I have ever purchased has always been comparable to HG or Monkeynutz, even if the selection was not the best. (OPS price for me was even better than HM or Giant.)

Los Angeles Kings sale June 12 and 13 at the Toyota Practice rink in El Segundo.

Apparently new sticks will be around $120 and used around $75 or so. Not sure how much stuff they will have. Not sure about gloves, helmets, etc.

I know the shop has a lot of stuff already not sure if they are selling any yet.

If someone could pick me up some 14" gloves for cheap (under 60) I'd be stoked on life and I'll buy you a sixer.

Any news on some skate deals there yet ?

Last year they had some boxes of Jr Kings gear (gloves etc). The pro shop used it to clear out some of their older stuff too

The sale will also include most gear from the shop.

Hours will be:
Sat 10-6
Sun 10-4.
