I thought this thread was about my Warrior Dolomite that has last 3 years! I've yet to break any composite stick in my beer league games, yet I have a guy on my team who has broken 2 this season (Bauer Total Ones). His breaks were results of collisions between another player and the boards though and broke about halfway up the shaft. I've been using an older Warrior Dolomite (black with the blue dragon on it) for the last 2 years or so, (3 seasons a year) and it has held up great! Not that I have a powerful clapper or snapshot by anymeans, but it certainly has taken its fair share of slashes and chops over the years. I'm really hoping it breaks soon so I can buy a new stick!
A truly unbreakable stick sounds dangerous. I got hit from behind into the boards (in roller hockey no less!) once and the butt end of my stick speared me in the stomach. I can only imagine the damage that would have done if my stick wouldn't have exploded on impact.
I don't see these being allowed. If they don't break someone breaks.
Didn't ever think of the aluminum bat concept of these things.... poop
I still have an old aluminum stick somewhere.
Get this guy in contact with Voynov, ASAP.
