    Default Washing Jersey

I have a white hockey jersey and i took it out to Dodgers stadium this past week but got some food stains on it..
I want to wash it but i'm scared that it might wash off the sharpied autographs i got from the players.

is it safe to wash or do i need to hand-wash it? and if i hand-wash it, what's the best solution?

    thanks!

I just washed mine inside-out on cold, on the gentle cycle, and hung it out to dry. Worked out great.

Can't vouch for sharpie signatures since I didn't have any on this one, though.

Wash my game jerseys weekly just this way. Spray 'n' Wash on the stains 15 minutes before washing works wonders.

    No dryer!

I've washed all my signed jerseys more than once. Inside out hang dry. Purple will fade on white mesh that is the only problem I've had and Luc just resigned it in black for me.

He is so cool, he traced it so it would look perfect. Think of the maybe millions of autos he's signed and everyone he makes sure is perfect (see the freebies we were given as season seat holders a few years ago).

I've heard that fabric softener is no bueno for jerseys as well. Def. keep it out of the dryer.
