If you want a game in one of the "other" places just call the rink, pick a date, start a thread and make it happen. You never know. I wouldn't have thought we could get a full team together at Valencia but Fuego pulled it off. So go for it.

What I've learned from putting these games together is this: keep it ****ing simple. That's what makes it fun. No lines, ratings, team names, scorekeepers or any other attempts to make it perfectly fair and equitable. It's called pick-up so pick up your stick and play. Oh, and no whining...that's essential too.

I played in the July game last year. I'm the guy who came from Kansas City, so really, if I'm going to put a game together it would be with LGKers anyhow. And although Ontario would be a bit easier for me, I had a blast at TSC last year and wouldn't be bothered by the drive at all.

Which pickup do you go to? I play in the adult league at Pickwick, the ice condition and locker rooms are terrible.

I vote for TSC.

I'm down with Lakewood or TSC. If it's Lakewood I can set it up, I can look into ice time for the beginning of August if people are interested.

Yeah, spjon, I've recently come up with 2 inventions! I accidentally kept rubbing 2 sticks of wood together and it became extremely hot and now I can make raw food.... cooked!! It's awesome!! The other's roundish. It was a table top that I was carving with a crude instrument, fell on its side and, get this...it rolled!!!! I'll call this, 'The roundish carved table top that rolls"! I can't think of a shorter term at this point.
