I went to an LGK game after only skating at 2 or 3 free skates. I couldn't skate for crap and I still had a great time. All the guys/girls are competitive to a point, but they aren't going to jump all over the new guy. You'd have a good time out there.

It doesn't matter your skill level. The games are just a really good time.

I needs to get me some gear. Just to play with you guys. It always seems like you really have an awesome time.

I've got 14" shinguards and XL pants to spare( both pretty much bottom of the line, but free )

edit: The shinguards have cracks developing on the knees....guess it's not too enticing now.
