The retail space is pretty limited and in need of a re-design but I found everything I was looking for. The on-site stick collection was probably their strong point.
According to the guy that helped me, their distributor is based out of LA so ordering things they don't have on-site via their website shouldn't take more than a day or two.
I'd love to visit Hockey Monkey at some point. I just can't justify driving out to OC primarily to window shop.
Sharpenings - TSC. I use my small sharpener in between games. I'll also let my friend at Hockey Monkey sharpen my skates but only if he's there.
I buy my equipment from a small retailer in Vancouver named Cyclone Taylor. I'll try stuff out at the different retailers here then order from there since I know those guys & if they don't carry it, they can order for me.

Sports Chalet and Sports Authority sell sticks that have plastic blades on them. When I alerted them that they could not be used on rinks, they said oh well, that is what we sell. F them in the A

I go to Hockey Giant because it is close to my work & I can go get what I need during lunch. Soon the anaheim store is moving to the old Cal Spas building down the street, so it will be even bigger.
I liked Lee's skate shop on Westminister Ave in Garden Grove back in the day. They had Northland Power Lite Sticks for $7 & they also had some complete uniforms from the movie slapshot on display.
