No triples!!!

First sub-90 round in 6 weeks!!

I was at the range at Arroyo Trabuco on Saturday. Hit them pretty well, overall. What time did you play, No One? I was there about 11-1 or so.

I was out at 11:18.

So at 11, I was probably finishing up on the practice green, before getting something from the snack bar.

I was probably on the green with you! I putted before I hit the range because when I got there the range looked completely full. Then I came back to the green for a while after I was done hitting balls. It sounded like they were ahead of schedule by a bit.

That putting green has some nasty breaks on it depending on what hole you're going for. Unfortunately, the greens on the course have a few nasty spots as well.

I think they may have been a little ahead when we teed off. I don't really pay attention to that. All I heard from the starter was 11:18, you're on the tee. They could have been a little early due to the member/guest that started at 8 AM.

I think my worst read was on #15. It broke about 6 feet further than I read. It is tough to read the bentgrass at the end of the day.

But I do love that course. I can't wait for it to be green again.

Yup, I like it when it's green. The ball sure does roll like crazy when it's brown, though. I always hit a 6 or 7 iron off of #1 to stay well back of the bunker on the left, but no matter how well or poorly I hit it the ball releases forward and rolls up just short of or along side the bunker.

Sometimes that extra roll is good, like on the long downhill par 4, but most of the time that's bad for me. I tend to be a little crooked and often I'll release through the fairway into the junk. On 18, that extra roll always kills me because if I hit the fairway in the middle I end up rolling and rolling and rolling left into the water.

106 at El Dorado in Long Beach.

Shot 49 on the back, birdied 18... can't wait to play again.

Tonga, is Lakewood that Par3 course? Id be into playing that. I suck at golf, but wanna start playing a little more.

The par three course I usually play is Heartwell. It's a fun little three hour adventure.
