Congrats! You're going to have to change your name soon...

Not so fast on that name change.

Played again on Monday and it was not so good.
Never tallied my final score but it was somewhere over bogey golf.

I'm aware of the issues that crept up and how to fix them.
Being consistent and trying to stay under 90 is my next goal.

    Oh, dudes.
I had a 39! on the front nine yesterday!

I birdied the ninth and felt invincible.
Thought I could at least par every hole from then on out, and it wasn't too long after that the wheels came off.

From the 10th on I got a par, bogey, double, double, par, par, bogey, par, bogey.

I gotta be happy with an 82 though.

Now that it sinks in, 82 is a great score for me!
    My best score yet.

Still, I was thinking I could break 80 for a while there.

WELL DONE!!! I have only had one 39, and it was on the front at Los Serranos on the south, on my way to my one and only 82.

No golf for me for two weeks, ugh. I haven't even picked up a club. I was on 12 different flights in the last 14 days.

DAMN, time to go the range this week.

    Thanks man.
Keep in mind I've been playing this same course over and over.
The fairways are wide, there's few trees, and the greens are flat.

I have improved a lot playing there but I'm a little concerned what my score will be like at a "real" course. Heh.

And my scores have been rather inconsistent, going from the mid-80s to the 90s and back a few times.

I'd be happier scoring several 87s in a row than bouncing between the mid-80s and 90s.

    In time.

Don't let your game get away from you.
    Get back out there man.

Played at a place called Marshall Canyon Golf Club.

    Scored a 99.

Much tougher than my home course.

Tee shots into hidden/sloped fairways, big dog legs, deep bunkers, etc.

Greens had actual angles and breaks.

See what happens to my score when I play a real course.

    That sucks dude.

    Playing bad golf is bad.
    Playing no golf is worse.

85 at Arroyo Trabuco... First round in about a month... since whenever I was out in Palm Springs and played 3 in two days.

When I hit it straight, I did really well. Putted great, except that I didn't make anything over two feet. But on about 14 holes I cozied my first putt up to gimme range, and only had two bad putting holes. Shanked a few OB. Pushed a few OB. Hooked it into the water on 18.

Considering all that, plus that I hadn't picked up the clubs in a while, 85 was a pretty damn good round.

Same here...wrist has no pain but still don't want to test it until doc says so.

What's even worse is I have a brand new club just sitting in the corner, still in the plastic! (Titleist D2 driver)
