Thread: Your latest golf game

94 at Green River (Orange Course) in Corona. It goes right along the 91 freeway there. The first few holes were very windy and I couldn't hit a fairway off the tee box. Considering I shot a 52 on the front nine I was happy with a final score of 94. Made birdie on the 18th to end on a good note.

I almost broke the century mark today. I had an appointment out in Palm Desert so I brough the clubs and played 18 at the Indian Palms Country Club in Indio. I was hacking all day and ended up with a 99.

I am looking at getting new irons this week.

Mine current set is the Pinseeker TPW III, which I bought in 2001.

I guess this means shooting in the 80's (and maybe even 90's) are gone for a while. :(

That's so bizarre... I had that Pinseeker TPW III set! My current irons are Mizunos and I love how they feel. What are you thinking of getting?

Good question. I am going to try to get to Dunn's today, and see what feels good.

I am looking for something that will keep my ball down a little bit, which is why I want to swing the Taylor Made LT2.

Of course, I do love my CG-11 54* and 60* wedges, so the CG-4's are in the running. Not so sure about the 2's or the 4-Tour.

and others.. So as you can see, I am wide open...

Mizuno MX-23 for me, but they've come out with some great looking newer irons. I pretty much went to Roger Dunn in Santa Ana and hit with 5 or so different sets that caught my eye, then went with what felt the best for the right price. Back when I got them I was torn between them and some Titleists, but the Mizunos seemed more forgiving.

I am playing San Juan Hills Saturday.

I may be playing in Tucson on the 20th. Yep, a Monday!!! My son is checking out ASU and UofA that week, so Monday afternoon is free. He just got a set of Nike Slingshots yesterday. I need to buy something now..

Played bogey golf at Heartwell on Sun.

Shot 72 on the nose.

Some new eye candy is going to teach me how to golf. He almost went pro so I'm sure we can help me with my backhand. Maybe we will make it out to an lgk game.
