I shot a 100 at a great course out here in AZ; Estrella Golf Club
I am usually a high 80's player, but this course is tough for me at a slope of 126.
I did better than the last time out, shooting at least 4 strokes better. The weather out here right now is brutal...it was 106 when I played at it is difficult to get early starts. We were sweating like mad!
I was playing well of the tee; very strategically, putting away the driver on several holes where getting the ball in play is tough due to narrow fairways. However, it was my iron play that let me down. time to visit the range...when it cools down!

No, it is also referred to as the Golf Club of Estrella. There is also a Estrella Mountain Gold Course, but I am referring to the Troon managed course.

I can barely hit the back fence anymore...i think I'm broken. Needless to say I'm very upset and will swing that much harder.

Westridge Golf Club - La Habra.
Fairly good condition, especially considering where it is and how exposed to the sun it is.
Front 9 - One bird. One double. 3 bogeys. Ended up with a 39. So, from this front nine and the back at Los Lagos I took 78 shots. Now I just need to put together a 39/39 in the same round.
Back 9 - Fricking stupid bogey on 10, and then a nice quad on the par 3 11th. That was it for me. could really get it back, and then I check my voicemail before playing the par 5 14th. My son calls me from Louisville telling me that he was robbed and the laptops are gone. He was devastated when I called him back. Couldn't focus on my round for 3 more holes. Have I mentioned that I am a mental midget? Ended up with a 46 on the back.
It was an index saver, as an 83 (11.4) was falling off and would have been replaced with a 90 (17.1). However, with this differential of 12.0 my index crept up to 12.2 from 12.1.
Looking at my last 20, there is a good chance I will fall below 12 with my next good round, since a 91 (16.9) will no longer count.

Glad to see that some people are still playing golf.

Let's just say I was much better today.
Front Nine - 6 pars, 3 "others" - 43 (+7)
Back Nine - 5 pars, 3 bogeys, 1 "other" - 40 (+5)
carded a nice 83.
The SINGLE DIGIT WATCH -
A horrible score fell off the last 20. The largest differential was a 16.9. Today's round was an 11.4... SO.. My trend is now 11.7.
It looks pretty good for it to stay under 12 for my Sept index. I have 2 uncounted rounds upcoming, and I don't plan on playing more than twice more for the month of August. If so, it'll be my first time under 12.
Of course, there is a 13.4 that will fall off when I play 3 more rounds, so I need to get one more decent score since the next lowest differential is 17.1..
In 5 rounds, I have that 84 for Los Serranos South falling off so I need to get moving, since that differential is 8.3.

Went out to Recreation Park 18 today, otherwise known as Big Rec.
Not a bad day at all, especially considering what I was doing at the range. I was able to leave the **** at the range, and bring some better shots on the course today.
My driver was on, as was my chipping and putting. My approaches were eh. I hit 10/15 fairways, with only 2 of the misses leaving no shot. I guess that's why the slope on this bad boy is 118, with a rating of 70.3 (par 72).
Birdied #4 and #18.
Posted an 83.
Lowers the index to 11.4.
