Thread: Your latest golf game

Remembering his swing from back in the day, I imagine Rod Carew being very laid off at the top of the backswing.

Very cool, though. It's fun to see people like that in real life, doing real life things.

so I have only been to the range 3 times in the last month, and haven't played a hole since Oct. 14.... (and with new clubs, you know where this is going)

Today, I decide to head out... Get to Mile Square to walk on, since I was alone...

Got out pretty quick, and sucked ass... 8 over after 3. Then I calm down, until the 15th, where I take a quad.

Shot a 92 on the Classic. So for 14 holes I was 8 over, and for 4 holes I was 12 over. (5 three putts today, how quickly one loses the game from 60 yards and in...)

Played at Indian Palms friday, sat, and sun. Only got in about 13 holes on Friday evening, shot 100 on Sat, and 96 today. The Mountain 9 was like playing on cement. They are closing it down tomorrow to aerate it but you couldn't stick anything lower than an 8 iron into the green. A few times my ball hit before the green and rolled all the way over it to the back side fringe. It was free golf though (pops is a member).

On a side note they just opened up the Royal 9 after aerating it and redoing 4 of the holes. Some punk ass kids drove all over one of the new holes and did donuts on it Saturday night. Tire tracks were too narrow to be a car so I'm thinking maybe a quad or something. I hope they find those bastards and punish them for ****ing up that hole.

After not playing most of the summer (Outside of an occasional 9 at the pitch and putt in El Segundo), I got to play Alisal last month:

Gorgeous course, I fully recommend that if your up in that neck of the woods to play it. It was well worth the ~$80 and they had no problem getting me out there midweek as a walk on.

I stopped keeping score after the turn, I was spraying the ball all over the place.

90 (adj. 88) Tijeras Creek from the TIPS.. It was CPO, and still a little thin from the overseeding.

The guys I hooked up with played back where the black should be, so I joined 'em back there..

5 THREE Putt bogeys, yes FIVE..

I need to head back to the green. I also need to work on getting my ball on the correct level on the green..

Cleared out pretty well after the front nine though.

Played Alondra and shot a 93.

Will I ever break bogey golf?

Had some incredible drives but my short game, specifically my approach shot, needs work and I can't putt for *h*t.

89 at El Toro..

Had some MISERABLE drives. May have been my worst driving day in months.
