Post your latest golf game & score.
My latest was the Alondra long course @ super-twilight.
Only got through 13 holes & scored a 60.
Would have been nice to see what my score was had I finished.

+9 at The LGK Heartwell game last Sunday.
I have no idea what I ended up with at Heartwell, and my last round before that was a month ago at Aliso Viejo where I posted a totally out of whack 71. It helps to play a course where you can drive several of the par-4's...
Just flew back from Montgomery, AL.
Played a round at a Robert Trent Jones desgin course at Capitol Hill. They have 3 courses. We played the Judge. here is link to a 360 of hole #1.
http://www.rtjgolf.com/courses/capitol_hill/judge1.htm
We tee'd offf at 8:00am and it was 100 degrees by 12pm.
The Judge yardage is 7794. The 10th hole par 5 is 711 yards from the back tee's, which we played!!!
So, in the heat and humidity, playing a long ass course, no golf shoes and not having my own clubs, I shot 98 and my brother-in-law shot a 96. I fudge on the final hole taking a double bogey while he shot a par 4 for the win!
B-MEL
Last Sunday at Heartwell and no way in heck am I going to post my score.
I will however share that I was in the funniest group EVER and I barely threw a single temper tantrum which is somewhat of a record for me ;)
Damn, B-Mel, 7800 yards is a lot of driver! That's hard to get used to with rental clubs. Very respectable!
Longest fricken course I have ever played. They played the Nationwide Tour Championship there last year on the Sentator Course. It's just slightly shorter that the Judge. All three courses there are Brutal!!!!Quote:

I like long courses because generally they'll cut down on the stupid gimmicky par 4's and 5's and let you hit driver off the tee (there's nothing I hate more than being forced to hit 8-iron or less off a par 4 tee, or 4-iron or less off a par 5).
However... 7800 yds is about 500 yds longer than anything I've played, and unless there are some severe elevation changes or you're playing at altitude, that's a butt load of yardage to tack onto an already long course!
Still would be kind of fun... except for the 711 yd hole. I like at least being fooled into thinking I could reach a par 5 in two...
I stopped playing after my ball ended up IN a tree. This was after hitting 2 trees and through a tree.
Shot +18 at River View in Orange (or Santa Ana, I forget). However I am not good and have only been playing for a few years. I would like to play more often to get my game better but time is not something I have a lot of.
Considering I didn't have one decent drive to shoot bogey golf isn't that bad for me. Usually my drives and irons are solid and I am 3 putting every hole. That day I couldn't hit the fairway off the tee but it was only 1 or 2 puts per green.
