Early in the season, Bruins coach Claude Julien raised a few eyebrows when he said that the Islanders, whoíve missed the playoffs since 2007, are going to be a great team someday with all the young talent that theyíve stockpiled.
Saying that the Isles are great right now might be a stretch, but theyíre pretty darn good. And last night, they were just a little better than the tired, undermanned and still out-of-sorts Bruins team, winning 2-1 at the Garden and improving their record to 8-1-1 in their last 10 games.
