Bruins lose in overtime
WASHINGTON — The Bruins have not had many big leads this season. Last night, the B’s did manage to get out in front by three goals, but in the end it did them no good.
After the Bruins blew the lead, Eric Fehr split defensemen Dougie Hamilton and Dennis Seidenberg and beat goalie Tuukka Rask over the glove hand 37 seconds into overtime to give the Washington Capitals an improbable 4-3 victory at the Verizon Center.
The Bruins jumped out to what looked like a comfortable 3-0 lead in the first period on goals from Brad Marchand, Zdeno Chara and Hamilton.
