OTTAWA -- Veteran Bruins forward Rich Peverley, who has 4-5--9 totals and a minus-9 in 28 games, was a healthy scratch Thursday in Kanata. He wasn't happy about it, but said all the right things after the B's practiced today at Ottawa's Carleton University -- before making the short flight to Toronto for tomorrow night's game vs. the Maple Leafs.
"Obviously you never want to be a healthy scratch, but it's the coach's decision," said Peverley. "I know I have to be a lot better. Hopefully from here on in, I will use that as motivation.
