12 p.m. EST (SL) -- If you're looking to shore up your goaltending situation, Ottawa's Ben Bishop is looking more and more likely to be on the move today. With Craig Anderson returning from injury and Robin Lehner playing well, Bishop is expendable. The upcoming RFA has reportedly received interest from five teams, including the Phoenix Coyotes, according to Bob McKenzie. Mike Smith is set to be a UFA in the summer, but they would like to re-sign him soon. Bishop could make for a nice backup with Jason LaBarbera a UFA after the season.
As the Islanders fight for spot in the playoffs for the first time since 2007, a source tells Newsday's Arthur Staple that Garth Snow has inquired with Chicago about Brandon Saad, who has 17 points in his last 16 games.
