Right about now, Los Angeles Kings goalie Jonathan Bernier is wondering “why doesn’t any of this [expletive] happen to Jonathan Quick when he starts?”

At 9:42 of the first period on Thursday night, a shot by Detroit Red Wings defenseman Kyle Quincey toward the net went off the glove of Bernier and into the air. Kings defenseman Slava Voynov attempted to clear it with a swing of his stick, but missed. The puck then went off of Bernier’s mask and into the net.
