2013 is pretty much set, the real question is going to be 2014
say good bye to gagne(3.5m) + penner(3.2m) + scuderi (3.4m)
sign rfa's voynov, martinez, lewis, nolan
and we better hope the kids are ready.

with not having a player to be bought out, an interesting kicker would be trading for someone needing a buyout while taking their high draft pick. bernier for buyout candidate + 1st rounder
I would also pick Nolan over Clifford. Better hands.
Bernier stays without a proven backup to replace him.
Why would any team send down Clifford or Nolan when they could just get rid of Westgarth?
with the long layoff, and the shortened camp, it could just come down to who's better prepared
As I have said before on here many times, Nolan is a future super star in the NHL, but he needs time, with that said it would be time better spent at the NHL level than down in the minors.
Which leaves Clifford or Westgarth, Clifford could actually turn into a decent 4th line player willing to step up and be an enforcer type as well, Westgarth is great at blocking punches with his chin then clapping afterwards...I take Clifford.
