I just noticed on Ticketmaster that the price range for the Chicago vs Pittsburgh Stadium Series on March 1st was $275-325 plus TM fees - ouch!!!

Hate to say it, but that's a better game than Kings Ducks...

Definitely a better game but the pricing seems so steep for Soldier's Field - capacity 61,500. Now I'm very curious to see how the NHL prices our Stadium Series game.

Is this a serious question? I can understand if you're a broker, but a Kings fan? I know people that are fans of both teams, but not enough to get season seats for both. I'm sure they exist, but still. My head almost exploded just now.

fair enough. I probably should have asked if anyone knew a Ducks season ticket holder. Kings fan living in OC, I guess I should be able to find a Ducks season ticket holder somewhere... just can't.

With all this "dynamic pricing" going on, it would not surprise me if the Ducks are more motivated to sell their seats than the Kings are. Imagine the NHL gave both teams the same number of tickets at the same cost (because there is no way the league just gives those tix to the teams) You have a greater demand for those seats from the Kings STH base because it is larger. The Kings base is about 16,000 and change if I'm not mistaken. The Ducks base is like 10-12,000. If each team gets say 20,000 tickets for their fan base, then the Kings seats are gone in a blink, but the Ducks could potentially have a surplus. Even if the price is the same, the Ducks STH's may be able to buy more than just +2 in their presale.

That right to purchase alone is a marketable commodity for a non-STH Kings fan that I promise many would pay a premium for. Could you imagine that? Ducks fans showing up on this board selling their extras? I'm not sure that would go over well, but I can see it happening.

No, I am not a broker. I have my 2 seats in Staples and will purchase my +2. I'm just thinking out loud and trying to figure out how to get more tickets for friends and family.

I would like confirmation on this. The Kings have very clearly stated that this game is not included in the STH package, but I've never seen any evidence that the STH pricing (originally based on a 43 game home schedule) has been adjusted. My invoice amount in my account remains the same, and my monthly charges remain the same. Both numbers divide evenly into a 43 games schedule, but comes out to an odd number out to many decimal places when divided into 42 games.

I guess I should contact my rep, since this wasn't addressed in the FAQ for the Stadium Series game.

That's just crazy.I think I would rather see the Dodgers in the World Series and tickets for me will cost $200 each. This game imo is a novelty ..It's price gouging if this is what the cost will be for this game.

I have ZERO intention of going, and I have a Monday priority date so if you want to shell out 900-1000 bucks for 3 tickets, I'll buy em.

Actually, I did see someone on here say they have season seats for Ducks.

And also as far as public sale, NHL is having the "game package" or whatever and I'm pretty sure the priority will go Season ticket holders, halfies, game plans, "game package", and then if any public sale...
Still wondering about Dodger season ticket holders, I asked two of my sth friends. They have not gotten any word, so they might be out.

But Royal Army sayin' they will be sellin group tickets for [perhaps] a Royal Army section has got me wondering...

And could there be a LGK group!?

I'm guessing the NHL gave each team x number of seats each and will control the rest themselves. Figure 16,000 or so season seats from LA and about 10-12,000 from Ducks, and if everyone buys their seats plus 2 you figure about 35-40,000 seats sold in pre-sale. That leaves between 15-20,000 seats remaining for public and corporate sales through NHL, and that's a high estimate remaining. I have a feeling the public is going to get frozen out of this one. Probably less than 5,000 seats will be available by the time it truly goes to a general public sale.
    Yea, no way in hell.
