I just got off the phone with a Kings rep and he explained to me that the $99 package Stadium seating is on the field, and that since the ice surface will be elevated, you will more or less see the torsos of the players. Of course you can upgrade for another $89 he said, but I need to weigh out if the experience of being there is worth it. Also assuming the seats on the field will be fold out chairs. On the other hand, it would probably be the only time in my life that I will be able to walk on the field at Dodger Stadium. Hmm, decisions...
On a side note, if you want to walk on the field, Dodger's stadium does a $15, 90-minute tour where they take you into some of the guts of the stadium, where you also get to walk onto the field.
More info can be found here Stadium Tours | dodgers.com: ballpark, and the highlights are below
A trip down to the field at Dodger Stadium
A visit into the Dodger Dugout
An exclusive look at the Dugout Club, our VIP restaurant and lounge located behind home plate and home to our two World Series trophies
A walk through the Vin Scully Press Box, where the story of Dodger Baseball is covered from every angle
And more surprises!
Thanks for the Stadium tour link, that gave me an idea for a bday gift for my dad.
A while back, I think I remember someone saying that there might be shuttles to and from Union Station to the game. Or maybe I heard it for Dodger games only. Anyone have an info on this?
The $49 obstructed view seats are already sold out, which I found out the hard way last night when my rep called to tell me my Holiday Pack order would no longer be honored. Fun!
