After seeing that seating chart, all I can say is that I don't think this is gonna be the "event" the NHL envisions, but just a game between the Kings and Ducks with crappy ice and crappy seats that would have been so much better if they just had it at Staples.
I think I will be watching this from the comfort of my couch ...
are you all kidding me? You don't want to go to this?
It's expensive because people will pay for it. I, for one, would love to see the NHL make a killing on these events, and am thrilled that the league is strong enough to survive these lockouts and put on these spectacle events.
I hope the NHL reaches NFL levels of stupid-wealth. It will never happen, but I hope it does.
Now, this will be unpopular, but as I am numerous glasses of wine into my weekend, I won't censor myself: The league is praying that more STH's don't use their presale privileges. It will open a slot for a casual fan with the money for a full price seat, and hopefully create a new fan or even better, a family of fans.
If the league one day prices me out of my seats, then good for the league and tough for me. If these games are an indicator that this is the direction it's going, well, I'm going to take advantage of seeing my team of choice as much as I can before I can no longer afford it.
How in the world do they think they're going to fill Dodger Stadium with those prices???? They are ridiculously high!
My phone doesnt let me see the map. Can someone let me know what the pricing is please
