They can do this now? Is that part of the new CBA?

I say it's Calgary. Nothing like LGK buzzing with Iginla coming to LA rumors.
LOL @ JB for Iginla.
Pretty sure 3 of those goals he gave up the other night were with the Kings on the PK as well. Not making excuses for the guy but that one game cannot be used as the standard for evaluating him.
Bernier for Leland Irving and a 4th
You can get two other teams involved per transaction to take half the salary and cap hit.
So Bouwmeester at 6.68 cap hit and 6.6 salary could be traded to the Kings with Calgary retaining half (3.34 cap / 3.3 salary) and the Kings being on the hook for the remaining amount.
If they got a third team involved then you could see that team taking half (1.57 cap / 1.65 salary) and the Kings being on the hook for that remaining amount.
That's at least from the last update I read on the CBA right after the lockout ended. It was something Brian Burke helped put together to make it easier for trades to occur.
You know, if Calgary is gonna blow it up, I could totally see a 4 to 6 player transaction making sense with us. This would happen sooner rather than later.
Jaybo makes sense because of Lombardi's interest in having another Veteran signed through next season. Iginla for a rental allowing Calgary to gain assets, and then he signs back there this offseason makes sense.
They would most definitely want Toffoli and Bernier, with a package of picks, and possible one of the younger defensive NHL players or prospects we have either on the club or down in the minors.
